I have a few days left to take before 31st march which iw as taking next week.
My boss now has said I might not be able to take them as were too busy.
Am I more than within my rights to ask for double pay on these days?
There is no current guidelines for this in our terms and conditions.

Don't know about the pay but you could ask to add the days on to this years holidays especially as your boss is the one who would be stopping you taking them.

thing is a new company comes into effect on 1st april and i am pretty sure that these wont be autherised to be taken over and i dont really want to ask (dont want to be seen as the trouble maker or anything like that.)
How much notice did you give when you requested the holidays. Did your boss sign a leave card? You are entitled to holidays and should be allowed to take them. Don't think you will be in a position to get double pay!
