Am thinking about spending time (few months to a year) in Portugal, preferably working at an English-speaking school. I am currently a qualified primary school teacher in England. Have never been too far from home, and I've got NO clue as to where to start with my ambition - looking for a job, a place to stay, how to even get there etc. Could anyone give me a starting point please?!

Search the internet - I am surprised as a teacher that you have not already done that. There is an enormous amount of information - try starting with the Britiish Council in Portugal at the above address. Good luck!
