went for an interview today! only 2nd interveiw in 23 years!

and i forgot to ask, when would i know whether i got the post or not! doh! felt right silly! any idea how long they keep you in waitng? i know that they interviewed all the people today.
Any advice would be good

It's actually best not to ask as it reminds them that they have other candidates to interview adn they forget how good you are.

I had an interview last week and I had a phone call the same evening to say I was successful!!

I start a new job in two weeks. They let me know the same day that I had got the job but every job is different and it depends how many people they have to see and if its an easy decision to make or not.

I was told I was successful within TWO hours !!!!! Thats got to be a record, and it was the NHS. Mid you, it took them two months from application to interview !

I would give it a couple of weeks and then contact them to ask when you'll hear if you haven't heard anything by then. And I disagree with Skreech - I don't think there's anything wrong with asking when you are likely to hear back when in an interview.

Hope it goes well and you get the job - I'm sure you will, but if you find yourself in an interview again, write down all the qu's you want to ask and take the list in with you - that way you won't forget!
