i haven't a clue where to put this put im hoping someone can help me. My brain is a little rusty and im having trouble working out how to figure it out. i have 3 results of coursework i have done. these three make up one module. For an assignment that is 30% of the module i got a mark of 62 (a B) for another piece of work thats 30% i got 57 (a C+) and for the final assignment that is worth 40% of the module i got 67 (a B+). How do i work out what my overall mark for the module is?

For the assignments that works out as
(1) 62 x 0.3 or 18.6
(2) 57 x 0.3 or 17.1
(3) 67 x 0.4 or 26.8
Adding then gives a total of 62.9, or 63 rounded up.
That would seem to mean an overall B grade (as it is close to the 62 which is a B.) That can be checked, since you got one grade above a B, one grade below a B and a B itsel so the average of those would be a B too.
