im having the sma eproblem, i wanted to do some office work, just general stuff, over the summer but even the agencies wont employ me as i have no experience!! so how do u get experience if no one will employ u as u have no experience!!!! ggggrrrrr!!!

iv seen a lot of adverts for legal secretaries that state experience essential, however, there are some, only a few, that ive seen that do advertise for trainee legal secretaries!!! u just have to look hard, very hard!

you could also try sending cv's and a covering letter to local solicitors etc on the off chance they are looking for someone! worth a try if u really want a job in that role!
I once applied for a PA's job within a Solicitor's office, I must have made a good impression because although he said I didn't have enough experience for the job I applied for, he said he had been thinking about employing a junior secretary and would I be interested in that position. I took the job and ended up his PA in a year or two when the PA he did employ left. So sometimes worth applying if you haven't got the relevant experience, just a case of being in the right place at the right time.
