Ethical Dilemna in interpreting for the Deaf

I am doing an interpreters course and for my next assigment I have to produce a portfolio of articles that pose interesting questions in relation to interpreting.for the Deaf. If anyone could help I would be very greatful as I am trying to make it as varied as possible. I must be able to produce evidence of where inofocomes from i.e. newspaper cuttings, names of books etc.
I have already done a lot of homework on it but now seem to have hit a mind block. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well an obvious starting point would be if you were interpreting something that someone was saying that you knew or suspected to be untrue.

Another might be be if you were asked to interpret a conversation between a deaf person and a lawyer or a doctor or even a priest. What confidentiality binds you?

That's particularly interesting in the legal case as you might become aware of information that the Police would like to know. Are you able or even obliged to tell them?

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I had thought of a few of these. Only problem is I have to say where I read about it and produce some sort of proof. On checking up again I see it can be anything to do with interpreting and a deaf peron, I just have to produce back-up for my work. It is just proving difficult to nfind much in papers or elsewhere about ann actual interpreting situation.
