work i n a private nursing home have not ha d a pay rise for 2 years should we have one due to cost of living

However, as you are in the notoriously lowly-paid care sector you may be being paid at the minimum wage, which does rise every year. Even if you are not the lowest paid in your organisation, this usually has a knock on effect to other low paid employees.
