Hi River I did Prince about 4 years ago, 3 days intensive and in my opinion it was a load of old rubbish.
Basically when I had to manage a project I had my projected end date, worked backwards from that and made sure everyone did what they were meant to lol.
My hubby did this about 2 years ago, he didn't pay for it as it was a part of his Army retraining thing. It's quite sort after in theory, but he found in interviews, he was losing out to yonger less exprerienced just because they had a degree... so for the money it would have cost 2000/3000, I don't think he found it worth it!
Prince 2 is a methodolgy of project management. it is a cv sift so worth getting. but better if you have reality of PM. APMP is more solid, then add the method of PRINCE. a one week course will definitely not make you a project manager and there are many people earning money telling you it will and getting paid for teaching the same. its a bit like double glazing. join a prince organisation and its great otherwise experience is better.
