prince 2

I'm contemplating going on a PRINCE2 course so my question is, has anyone done this and if so -
Which course provider would you suggest going with?
How do you know which level to take?
Was it actually beneficial?
How much should I be paying?
I'm doing this outside of my current job for future career progression...Or any general comments on the course would be great.
Thanks

It's quite sort after in theory, but he found in interviews, he was losing out to yonger less exprerienced just because they had a degree... so for the money it would have cost 2000/3000, I don't think he found it worth it!
Prince 2 is a methodolgy of project management. it is a cv sift so worth getting. but better if you have reality of PM. APMP is more solid, then add the method of PRINCE. a one week course will definitely not make you a project manager and there are many people earning money telling you it will and getting paid for teaching the same. its a bit like double glazing. join a prince organisation and its great otherwise experience is better.
