Job suggestions

My mum has been made redundant from her job of 7yrs, she is a machinist but can't seem to find any around our area. she needs to look at other jobs but isn't very confident with people untill she knows them, she has a great sense of humour but isn't good with spelling or IT so office is out of the question has anybody got any ideas.TIA
