please can someone help me get some info on London boroughs or specifically london borough of barking and dagenham to do a pestle analysis?

If this is what I think it is, it sure is an odd question!
PESTLE analysis is an acronym for a strategic analysis tool that can be used by any organisation (public or private sector) to consider the forces that impact on it.
P = Political
E = Economic
S = Social
T = Technological
L = Legal
E = Environmental
Whether or not one humble local London Borough gets involved in it - I've no idea. Look on the Chief Executive's part of its websites, I guess. Are you going for a Business Analysts job there, by chance?

This is as good as it gets (on the website). Nothing to (automatically) suggest they use PESTLE. If I was going for a job there, and the job spec. was mentioning PESTLE, I'd be looking at this part of the website around the Community priorities and Vision stuff, and the Balanced Scorecard they use to measure their performance.

Thanks for your help buildersmate! By the way this Pestle analysis on Barking Council is an assignment that I'm required to do as part of my masters degree studies.

Oh well that makes sense then. How come no-one's told you about Pestle on the course if you are expected to use it? I learnt of it during my MBA.
