New Job Fallen Through

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I had job interview on Friday and was offered the job on the spot, and told I would be contacted earlier this week to finalise the salary details and my hours. I had not heard anything, so I phoned them today and was told that the woman who offered me a job had walked out, hadn't told anyone about me, and the job has been given to someone else!! Can I do anything? This was my dream job! I was so excited and told everyone about it and now I look like a total a�se!!!
