I plan to do an MA next year, but the course is full time and they say that it is not advisable to work much as the course will take up all your time.
Since you don't get a grant or student loan for this level of education, how do people cope?! Any ideas on how I can fund myself through this course, as I really do want to do it.

Career Development Loans? 8000 worth. Rates not great though.
You can afford 2 days work in your schedule. In my postgrad 1 worked fulltime (nights, hotel, studying while doing so). Most of the others didn't, but easily could have done 2-3 days.
The workload in a Masters varies, doubling in the second half with Dissertation, exams, etc.
good luck.

Thanks. Mine is in film making and apparently they teach you stuff on 2 days and then you have to spend 2 days as a group doing the practical side. I was thinking I would have to work 2 days a week, even though that is not gonna be hardly any money to live on!
There are a few self-employment options. Buying and selling stuff on ebay is a good one, can earn up to 60 per hour, if you do it right. There are also sponsorship options.
