Hi I'm trying to apply for university for 2008 and my chosen courses are all along the theme of business and finance but I'm stuvk on the opening sentence... any ideas? x

You dont need to write i enclose my personal statement, because the only bit you personally write is your personal statement so that makes no sense.
Just say something like throughout my school years, i have developed a great interest in business and finance etc etc. You could ask for help from your referee or guidance teacher etc.
