Do cruise companies employ couples? - either married or just partners, or would a couple wanting to work on the same ship have to keep their relationship secret?

Hi my mum went on a cruise recently and heard about a couple working on the same ship (not the one she was on though). I dont think they had to keep it a secret.

I think its a great idea, get paid to travel the world with each other!

couples can work on the same ship, but its not guarnteed you'll both be offered places on the same ship and even if you do get on same ship you could end up in seperate sections so wouldn't share sleeping quarters and may end up with diff hours/shore days. (on ship you could be workin 11hrs or more per day)
