I have a university interview for an education course soon and have to read a passage of 250-300 words from a journal, newspaper or similar as a part of it, where would I find something suitable?

Hi,Sophie
You haven't made it very clear what kind of article you need to read - do you have any more information?
Have a look here and see if it is any help:

It's a sad state of affairs when a university student doesn't know where to find 250 words..

Books, magazines and newspapers would be an obvious start

obviously I know where to find 250 words and do read newspapers often, I was just wondering, other than the educational supplement where would be a good place to look that has regular articles on education (specifically on education of children aged 3-7 by the way) so that I would have a wide range of articles to choose from rather than the usual stuff in newspapers about "Exams causing stress for youngsters" which is hardly insightful stuff!

and just before anyone says I do not count- The Sun, The Mirror, or even The Mail or The Express as newspapers!
