need some advice for career change. i got 3 qualifications, BA in language, PGCE in business, MA in education, when im looking for job, i found those qualifications just like pieces of paper, useless. i really wanna work in a proffessiona environment, but my previous work exprience all about face to face customer service, and i hate customers!! (well, i done goo job, but im not outgoing typy person, i wont say u love the nature of the job). also, im foreginer, i can speak good english, but i cant use good business language special writing. so even hard to get adm job.
im consideirng to take accounting course at moment. i found if i have the skills, i could avoid my language weakness and get into a proffessiona workplace, then walk my way up graduatly. i also heard it is easier to swift to other business related area once you are exprienced in accounting, such like marketing, finance, management etc. people told me it could be flexible to work as accountant, can work either part time or full time, if you are qualified, you can selemployed as well, as i have plan to have baby soon, im sure i will devote lots time to famliy in the future, in that case i could do accountant job at home.
im not 100% sure about my analysis, anyone has suggestion? also, im thinking to take AAT rather than ACCA, becuase i feel AAT more practical, anb i could get a junior accountant job quicker after i took the course. is that correct? thank you.
