A Little Lost :(
2 Answers
Hi guys,
I've been working in admin roles for the past 5 years (I'm 21) and for the past 6 months have been in a purchasing role. The trouble is, I hate the job and I hate working in an office. I know nobody really likes it, but I have a deep, passionate loathing for it.
I've always been a creative sort and I quite often take commissions for paintings, but not enough to earn a living obviously. I guess I'm just after a bit of guidance, what sort of job could I do which makes use of my skill? Its easy to say 'be an artist' but I'll never make enough money from it. I don't have any qualifications to work in design, which would take years to acheive...
It's got to the point where I dread going to work in the mornings and I don't want to flit from one job to another, knowing I won't be happy doing it. I just don't know what to do with myself anymore :(
If anyone's got some advice I'd be so grateful!

If I was in your position and felt like you do, I would go sick
with stress and use the time to look at other job opportunities. I feel if you could get out of the environment that you hate and find another job to pay the bills, you could spend quality long term time to establish what career path you would like to pursue. I always say 'if there is no job, then you cant have one', But you can research what jobs are out there that do appeal to you.
