My girlfriend is after finding new employment working with children as she works as a nursery nurse and feels it's time to move on?

She would ideally like to work again in a nursery, a hospital childrens ward, a school or possibly childminding.

Does anyone know of any good websites or contacts for this field of work?

For childminding she should contact her local council where they will advise her of training courses in her area - they are free and will include pediatric first aid training, registration with OFSTED and NCMA membership

If she is after a TA position I would suggest, that unless she already has relevant qualifications for it, she should get some. TA jobs go very quickly and are very much sought after positions

For other jobs in childcare this is a good site
http://www.childcarelink.gov.uk/
Start with a postcode search on the first page, enter postcode on the second then choose job search on the third

As for hospital children's ward? No idea about that one
Perhaps a nursing times or local jobs agency
for school related jobs these are usually advertised in the local paper or she could try the council website
jobs on children's wards are very hard to come by I have found myself and the play specialists which actually do less than most nursery nurses get paid more but most have to have an additional qualification in caring for sick children
has she thought have been a nanny? look up local nanny agencies most specify qualifications are necessary and experience and a car driver.
I'm not sure where you live but she could try the local council for vacancies and the local health authority to start with. Both should have websites. The fact that she is already a Nursery Nurse will help her although she will need to have an up to date disclosure done.
