Active Primary Promethean Help!
1 Answers
Hi Folks!
I'm a primary school teacher and need some help with Active Primary Promethean, preferably looking for some sort of training on this kind of software in classrooms.
I'm on a night school course about IWBs but it doesn't cover the Active Primary Promethean! Eurgh!
Anyone found anything online? Please can you advise or post a link?
All help much appreciated! Many thanks in advance!

I would suggest that instead of seeing a training course, you just sit and fiddle - start out with where you want to go in terms of teaching and learning and then see how the software supports you. If you are mre familiar with another board softeare such a Smart, download and use that instead.
Ultimtely, it is not about the board and its software but about how you as a teacher want to use it. My main criticism of promethean is that they overload the board with bells and whistles, the vast majority of which are not needed.
Lastly, if you still feel you don't understand how the board can work for you, turn it over to some of your kids and let them own the learning.
