Hiya. I've got a form to fill in for my new job for my bank and building society details for my wages. There is a box to fill in in the same section as Name, Address, date of birth etc that jus has the letters OAN. Does anyone know what this is? thanks :)

Thanks buildersmate. I rang up i the end and it was the oracle number apparently. I have no idea what that is and they said I don't have one yet. So mystery solved but I'm none the wiser to what it actually is!

Oracle is a US-based provider of computer software databases - a really big one. Many companies use Oracle databases to manage their processes (mainly financial processes). That field is therefore one for internal company use only - not something you'd be expected to fill in. Bizarre to put it on the form.

It would seem, strange to put it on my form right enough. Maybe for people who are currently working there and changing thier account details maybe? Thanks buildersmate, I can stop wondering now :)
