At least the criteria they use have some merit, rather than some random opinion from an ABer.

I went to Uni of West of England which is in Bristol. I went to Bower Ashton Campus and know they did something likr that there. Have a look, it was in a really lovely location. Bristol is pretty small and I had a wicked time there.
De Montfort in Leicester offer a BSc in Media Technology - http://www.dmu.ac.uk/Subjects/Db/coursePage2.p hp?courseID=4599

It is a very friendly and unsnobby university in a very friendly and culturally diverse city. Plus it's right in the middle of the city and is spread across a wide area rather that being on a closed campus.

Having two universities in the city and another a few miles down the road (Loughborough), Leicester's also very student-friendly.
