When I moved from bronze to silver I kept my skill the same, I know then you could keep one of your sections the same and the other 2 had to change. Is he keeping one of his sport/service the same??
I used my piano playing as my skills then water colour classes for my Gold. Does your son play any instruments or do any extra classes in anything at school?? If he has his book there should be a section at the back with loads of really good suggestions in it and there might be something that you havent thought of.
My daughter did a singing club at school for her skill for her bronze award
I would look at the after schools clubs for an idea
