Unfair Dismissal?

I have been back at work for 3 months after having my daughter.

I was ill on Wednesday so called in sick. I hardly ever am sick! I work part-time and came back to work this morning to read emails from my boss (to my colleague and his wife) saying he wants me gone.

Im furious. This is surely unfair and based on the fact that i was off sick for one day.

Anything i can do?!

I dont think i have much choice....

Im sure he has to legally give me a reference. And he;s making me redundant not sacking me therefore - the reference should be ok! Hopefully!

I still think you need to take all the evidence to your local Job Centre who will advise you to contact the Arbritration Service. They will give you completely accurate advice and you do sound as if you have a watertight case. You have nothing to lose.
