How could I answer this question?

On an application form my friend has to fill out for a voluntary post within youth work the form has asked "what do you think you could offer the youth service and young people"......just trying to get a few peoples take on how they would answer this....

He should talk about his life experiences which will help him to guide the youth. (From whatever field he has knowledge of, plus general things like opening a bank account etc which they might need help with)

Sorry but your answer doesnt really help either, at least grass carp give me something positive to work on, I didnt want the definitive answer just advice if the question was put to you but you read to much into it......

what i would put in my answer would include:
-i've worked with children of all ages in the past so have an understanding of development from babies to adults
-Any experiences i had when younger that i could reflect on in practice e.g duke of edinborough award etc
-Any conflict resolution experience e.g customer service
-Keeping calm in an emergency with examples

just a few ideas
