I left a good job in the UK to move to Spain as a financial adviser (this was not my previous industry), I had planned to give it a few months to see how well it was going to work out, as it happens it hasn't gone as well as I anticipated and I am now considering moving back home. Will the fact that this hasnt worked out be perceived negatively by potential employers or will it be considered good to have tried something different?
I think it'll be considered as something good as you've gone out there and tried. It takes guts and ambition to do that. Spain is in a financial turmoil at the moment so it wasn't the best time maybe... HTH
