Attendance Bonus
4 Answers
As part of my terms of employment, I qualify for an extra weeks pay every 6 months if I have not had more than 1 day off work as sick/Authorised Absence. Last month everyone was told via memo that after the bonus payable at the end of Feb., this scheme would cease. In our handbook it explains that the company can alter any terms and conditions for the needs of the business. In effect, we have been given 6 months notice that this bonus has stopped. I assume this has all been done correctly?

But as bednobs says, there isn't quite the same incentive. this last few days i have been off ill, 3 days in fact, but I only lose the first days pay, except i will probably take it as a holiday.
The bouns worked for 20 years but i guess it's a sign of the times.
