employer changing my hours

i have worked 2 sundays a month for the past 22 months. our company has just made redunduncies and now my hours are changed so im working totaly different hours. can my employer do this without talking to me about it? bit confused on where i stand as it seems my hours have been given to someone else.
any advice would be great thanks!1

They can change your hours, yes. I work in somewhere that has recently done this but luckily my hours were unaffected. Have you lost hours or do you do the same amount but at different times?
Have you asked why your hours went to someone else?
