I am filling a form in for a job application and under previous employees there are three boxes one for name and address for for duration and a small box with "NOR" above it - does anyone know what this means?

If you meant employer rather than employer if there's "NOR" for each employer could it mean NO Reference perhaps to indicate they've conatcted an employer but received no reference? Probably not, but just a guess...
