I must work for the most tightest A hole of a company in the South West...they dont pay any sick pay, they take time off your holiday allowance for dental doctors appointments, I have been there 18 months and no cost of living wage rise, or any such incentive has been offered, I have recently completed a first aider course and am their fire marshall also, but they still refuse to recognise this via some sort of pay increase, I have asked about this and got a refusal, what other means can i approach this - other than the obvious start looking for another job ....although we are allowed 4 weeks holiday, it is infact 16 days as we are forced to take 4 days over christmas even though I said i wanted to work over the Xmas period !! I give up...
