is this acceptable? She used the stock cupboard as the loo wasn't acceptable. The babe was at her home & she was 'stocking up' for tonites feed.

Was the loo not acceptable to the mother or was it not acceptable to others that she was expressing milk in the loo? I feel sorry for her that the only place she felt she could do this was a cupboard.
I can't really see what the problem would be with a mother breast feeding or expressing milk in the ladies'. Or does it bother you that she is doing this when you think she should be working?

Tamborine, it sounds like you disapprove of her coming back to work so early, which is a different issue to whether or where breastfeeding/expressing should be allowed in the workplace.
There are other examples of when an employee might need a bit of personal space and the toilet might not be ideal ... a diabetic taking insulin, taking an urgent delicate phone call from a family member, praying ... ideally a workplace should have a quiet corner or room for these kinds of thing.
