is there any work for people who are housebound?

i am housebound and looking for work but all i seem to be able to find is catalogue distribution and telemarketing. are there any serious work from home jobs out there?
does anyone else work from home? if so what do you do? who do you work from?

Also it may be worth buying a copy of your local paper, to see if there are any home-work based jobs in there. Sorry if you've already done this.
Ring your nearest job agencies/ job centre as they may have just what your looking for.

Deya Ltd is the company which delivers Yellow Pages (as well as some Phone Books and other directories) throughout the country. They employ people who, working from home, phone customers to check that they've received the directories. (All calls are routed through Deya's system, so there's no cost to the people making the calls).
I don't know how much work each person gets but I do know that Deya is a reputable employer, paying reasonable rates. (I work as an area supervisor for them, organising the teams of deliverers. I have to liaise with the route checkers and they all seem to enjoy the work).
