If you use a local bus company to provide the training and test then they will probably expect you to work for them for a minimum period, two years is not unusual. If you leave before serving this period you may have to pay them all or part of the cost of training you. It is a good short-term job for a young man BUT it always was a standing joke amongst my colleagues that anyone over the age of 45 was a prime candidate for a heart attack. I made it to 50 and attended many funerals before cardiac probs set in but am now unemployed as a result.
Sorry to be so bl**dy cheerful but as I said, money can be good, with plentiful overtime, but please be aware of the risks. The cost may not be financial.
