I'm looking for maths/numeracy sites to use with a class of reception children, needs to be pretty simple stuff, no more complicated than adding 1 to a given number and no reading required. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Thank you, have already tried google using all the search terms I could think of and have found a few but was wondering if there are any really good ones people use with their children.
Have a look at www.bbc.co.uk/skillswise - there is some brilliant stuff on there, I think you could use or adapt it for smaller children.

thanks boxtops, had found the bbc childrens site but not that bit, looks quite useful!
You could have a go at Mathletics - http://www.mathletics.co.uk/ - younger children would need help logging in, or you could use it as whole-class tool. It aims at providing immediate feedback / stimulus and kids tend to find it very fulfilling.

That looks pretty good Mosaic, as it needs to be paid for I may see if it's something the school I'm on placement at has already. Have added it to my favourites for future reference!
