Income support for a 17 year old?
6 Answers
My cousin who is 17 years old has just left home after a argument with his father, and not the usual teenage tiff either. He has been living with his Grandmother, but she has made is clear that this is only until he finds his own place to stay. He has no job, and is currently completing a full-time college course but does not receive a bursary or loan, as his father was deemed to earn too much for him to qualify. I would be grateful for any advice anyone would be able to give on if he would be able to receive a bursary/loan, or if he would qualify for any other kinds of benefits? Thank you for any help anyone can supply.

Someone is getting his child benefit though if he is enrolled at cllege full time,.so whoever that is should be making sure they claim for him.
