Hey to all! Im 14 and i know what i wana do in life.

I wana be a singer! Infact im gona be...

But, i don't know how 2 go around it when im ready?

I sing soul, jazz and r'n'b anyone got any info?

Your best bet is to get some good singing lessons, preferably with someone who teaches the styles you like singing. (ie- not classical or opera). Then get yourself a band! You can do this by offering your services at your local College or Uni (put notices up around the Music Dept) or put up a sign/card in your local music shop. Then get lots of gigs. You can really learn the trade by gigging around. You may not become a famous pop star, but this way you will be earning money from singing. If you really study it you could also pass on your knowledge by teaching singing, but you need to be musical to do this, and preferably play the piano a bit.

By the way, I meant to say... write as many songs as you can, and copyright them. There is no real future for a band that does covers (except small gigs) and you get far more money from selling your OWN songs than you would from selling someone elses.

No, by covers I meant bands that form and just play Mustang Sally and I Will Always Love You!!!
