Anyone ever done SCiP training as I start a three ay course tomorrow and a bit in the dark.

As to what topic you are covering - well I suppose it could be anything from MS Excel to MS Word to simple web designing.
Of course, having an excellent line manager, I'm sure he/she briefed you with some learning objectives before you set off on your learning quest? What, no? Quel surprise!
