Well a lot of English does come from Latin. What are you trying to translate?

"Dream as if you'll live forever, live as though you'll die today"

Ah, the famous quote by Jamus Deanus.
How about:
"Somnium tanquam vos mos ago pro infinitio , ago ut sententia vos mos intereo hodie."

Thanks, where did you get that translation from or do you speak latin? I had trouble finding it thats all. Thanks for your help xx
I knwo very little Latin apart from Amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant...and how to say table, oh table in Latin.
I used one of the online translators. The reason it didn't work for you is that it wouldn't recognise the contraction "you'll", so i replaced it with 'you will' or ' you shall'. I also replaced forever by 'for eternity' as it didn't seem to be able to translate 'forever'.
However, although mine looked like good Latin it may not be correct for when i translated it back to English I didn't quite get back to where we started from.
You really need a Latin teacher.
