Eddie is right i was accepted, but you have to pay yourself and then reclaim it,no travelling expenses and some of them paid only £3

Thanks for replying EDDIE51 It does sound a bit hit and miss. I thought you would be offered things close to home and assumed you would get out of pocket expenses.Apparently not.
There was a big article recently about this being a big scam and how difficult it is to make money out of it. They promise you free meals out at restaurants that you check and free articles that you buy. In reality this is simply not true.

Thanks everyone for the feed back.Certainly sounds a bit of a con.One of the agency adverts were charging £30 to sign up and it sounded as though you could end up a millionaire some hopes eh!!!
have a read of this.

My sister was taken in by it and actually lost money doing it.

I signed up with one of the more reputable firms. Unfortunately all assignments were to do with banks, and as I live in a small town with only three banks where I know all the staff, it was a bit of a no brainer. I did a couple of assignments in banks in a neighbouring town and was paid £10 & travel per assignment.

Yup! got the message DemonSeed.
DemonSeed - I would love to help you become rich, but if I told you how I made my £millions I would have to kill you.

If you want a reputable mystery shopper firm (as a start to becoming Bill Gates II), I'd recommend a firm called Grass Roots

Thanks, but as I already have a conservatory at Overall Towers, a porch would look a bit daft.
However, my car is a bit dodgy, so a Porsche would be nice......

Ihope the mystery shopper who SHOPPED me is on a pittance too!!!
my friends mum does one for restaurants and its quite good for her, she can easily get the the town near us and she work in the city 30 miles away so if somethign comes up there, she can go before or after work, or even in her lunchbreak, and she's had no problems claiming hte money back.
My friend belongs to one called mystery diningand gets free dinners (taking me as a guest sometimes)! It works well and you have a check list of things you have to report back on. They give you a budget, you dine out and that`s it. You have to apply and I applied to my local area (different from hers) and they didn`t want me! Depends which restaurants are signed up - usually chains like Prezzo. Girraffe etc. so they`re tageting a certain age/type. Worth a try though.
