applying to costa
24 Answers
even though travel costs will be just under £5 there and back, i've decided to apply for the saturday and holiday postion at costa.
On the poster, it said to send in a cv and cover letter. I've just looked on the website and it said about the qualities that their staff have, so, aslong as i do have those qualities, such as reliable, hard working and helpful, because thats like saying what their ideal person is like?
Also, is there any other tips you have for me, seeing as this is the first job i have applied for.
One more thing, most jobs these days, if you have an application form, say they want three references, but do you think, my form tutor and cadets will be enough?

So i can't ask them because there is noone there to ask at the moment and it seems pointless.
Depends when you were born
the minimum wage is £3.57 per hour for all workers under the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age
and you are no longer of compulsory school age after the last Friday of June of the school year in which their 16th birthday occurs.
So if you were 16 last year you get minimum wage as above, if you were 16 this year you don't get minimum wage until the last Friday of June.
(though in reality they will probably pay the same regardless)
