Hi, Does anybody have any experience of doing on line learning courses, in particluar GCSE's?  If so, can anybody tell me the pro's/con's and if possible recommed any companies/colleges that do this online.  Due to the shifts I work it would have to be online...

Pea12, I started an online Open University Degree a few years ago, but gave up after about 6 months. The most difficult thing for me was finding the time to do the work.If I remember correctly, I needed to spend about 12 hours a week studying, for a total of 3 years, and although I thought this would be easy to do,in reality,it was very, very hard. After a hard days work, I found it difficult to find the energy to study for a couple of hours.Dont let me put you off OU courses, Im sure there are thousands of people out there who dissagree with me,all I am saying is please do not underestimate the time and effort you need to put into any course.Good luck, and I wish you the very best.
