Qualification for HSMP

I am a pakistani qualified Chartered Accountant residing in Pakistan. I want to apply for a visa under HSMP. Will my qualification be considered as equivalent to Post graduare degree?

As previously answered your degree would have to be on a labour shortage list for the UK in order to be considered for a job in the UK. It would be worth investigating the British embassy to see what points you have to qualify.

To qualify under the highly skilled migrants programme (which i think you are referring to) you will have to show that there is a shortage of skills in the UK which you possess. however your qualifications are not usable in the UK as you will have to retrain and pass the relevant exams in the UK to gain that accredition. You may be turned down on that basis.

Futhremore having a qualification that serves as a post graduate degree is irrelevant. If you wish to further that education by learning accountancy in the UK then you will have to apply as a student not as a highly skilled migrant
