A Levels
6 Answers
My daughter left school 1/2 through her A levels she got very good results but decided school was not for her. A year down the line she has now wishes to finish her "A"s.
I am keen for her to get the 3 'A's but the only place she can find to redo the course is charging a small fortune and the local evening classes do not offer the 'A' she wishes to do. I am of limited income so would anyone have any suggestions how she can get these "A"s at the cheapest possible price;she will be 19 in April.
Thank you

I work in an FE college and as far as I'm aware if the student is 19 or over on the 1st September then they have to pay for their education. I think this is due to being over 18 and therefore their parent's income is not taken into consideration. I may be wrong, but I would check with the college your daughter is interested in. Hope you can sort something out :)

As above, the college will see her as 'giving up' then realising to get where she wants to be she has to finish them plus there's the thing about her supposidly being able to support herself.
Do all year 14's have to pay for exams, even if they've been at the college from year 12 and even if they're not resitting ie, they are redoing another subject but had to pick another as to do (I know people in this situation).
