Hi dylan- please can you clarify the reference to Voluntary work.
Are you saying she's an unpaid volunteer?
Or are you saying that they are being asked to lose an hour's pay and then 'volunteer' to make up that hour unpaid ?

dont say that im starting work with the nhs monday :(
I still don't understand what the OP is saying?????
If I was a doctor.....I would be delighted.

Same pay...hour less work.
i think they are saying that they need to work one hour unpaid every week woof x
The NHS cannot make people do that...they can ask but I know what my answer will be!!
sorry.... "would" be, I am now retired
If the choice is lose an hour or lose a member of staff, I would go for the hour personally.
But hiow would that be voluntary staff? Surely they don't get paid. Dylan needs to come back and explain more.

in other words i think she meant they will have their hours cut due to financial probs in nhs
So they will work less and get paid less?
