I am a senior-year Highschool student and I am about to enter University and major in journalism. What kind of jobs are there for journalists?

Many and various. You may wish to gain some experience on a regional daily or evening title, and then move to one of the national dailies. Specialisation is always a good idea - ecconomics, sport, politics, the arts, all have regional and national coverage. If you don;t fancy a staff job, you could freelance, but it is a very competitive world and you have to hussle constantly to get work. have a chat with your tutors when you get to university, they can probably offer you all the advice you need.
