In Scotland, you can do a Foundation in Nursing course at a lot of local colleges but I'm not sure if that rolls out across the country. The majority of Unis will require you to have at least some qualifications. If you're really set on it, you could do night classes and it would be worth it, especially if you're younger as you can then work all over the world. I didn't start my training until I was 55 but if I'd been younger, I would have been globetrotting now!
NVQ 3 in care so get a job as a health care assistant do the NVQ and apply to be seconded onto training that way you won't have to struggle on a bursary and will get a salary while you train you will also almost certainly be a better nurse for it as you will have a head start on those coming through the academic route
