Narrowed it down
31 Answers
I've now narrowed down my uni course options to 9! Now what do I do? It looks like me and mum'll be having a few trips to the south coast and wales this summer aswell as 3 places in east anglia.
Anglia Ruskin (cambridge), UEA, Essex (colchester).
Bangor.
Plymouth x 3, Portsmouth and Brighton.
well it's a start, plus the one at essex is an intergrated masters course for 4 years . . .
But they do avry in entry requirements from 240 points to 360, from BBC to ABB/BBB

There's an old saying - "get into the best you can" Molly - so your pitch should have a couple of your top Unis and a couple for insurance if you don't make your grades.
Not considering Marine Bio at St Andrews then? That's supposed to be a hell of a job.
I would then think about distilling out the key factors that you are looking at in a course and weight them out of a 100 or 200 points to get at their respective importance to you. So that when you visit you can quietly grade each of the places. This should include not only the academics but residence, safety, social, sports, etc etc..........

an ex of mine studied marine biology in plymouth and has gone on to complete a phd and use it vocationally, last I heard she was out off the coast of Kenya.
Definitely consider onward options though and maybe start sourcing potential career moves now to get an idea of what's required because we all know how the situation's getting. I done hispanic studies which I now think was too academic as I couldn't find any job in which I could use my languages.
