I am really interested in Joining the Police IT intellegence (NCIS). I know I need to have a vast range of knowledge regarding computers etc but I would be grateful if anyone could give me advice on exactly what I would benefit from doing? 

I know it's kind of a long shot but I thought it would be worth a try to see if any of you out there know anything...................

you`d need firstly to join the police, complete your probationary period (2yrs) gain investigation skills, become a detective, become a very good detective, keep doing this for about 12yrs, wait for the secondments to come up and apply.  Secondments to NCIS (national criminal intelligence service) are for 5yrs.  Or you may be able to join as a civilian support worker.  Frankly I would prefer stacking shelves in ASDA
