Whatever you do, don't go to a school. You have been in school most of your life- why would you want to waste this opportunity doing more school!? If you are interested in medicine, try getting in a vets or even a hospital- a private one may take you if an NHS one won't. They will probably give you the easiest jobs with no responsibility, so you may need to ask for specific things. I worked in the local theatre for mine. They wanted me to work in the box office (DULL) so I insisted that working backstage was far more relevant to my school coursework. You are unpaid, after all- they can't make you do skivvy jobs! So I ended up working with Sooty and Harry Corbett, Brian Conley and Little and Large for 2 weeks! Was great fun!
