I had a bed delivered to my house and the delivery men put a hole in my wall and marked all my ceiling. They have filled the hole and have offered us 2L of similar paint. I do not feel this is acceptable and don’t see why I should have to pay for my hall stairs and landing to be redecorated due to their damage as they cant match the paint.
Please can anyone advise me of where I stand?

Delivery men are not obliged to deliver inside the house. They are within their rights to leave the goods outside, as long as you are aware the goods have been delivered.

Unless your contract specifies delivery to a certain room or installation, you don't have a let to stand on

yes it said they would take it upstairs and assemble it.
I would say it was the other way round. Unless the contract specifically excludes loss or damage to the property for delivery within or installation AND the term is reasonable I would suggest that the company are liable in negligence.
