I bought a pair of hair straighteners from the Vitality Show in London in March. Really love them but they blew up in July. I emailed the company, which I believe are in Spain, and they were happy to replace them (they have a lifetime warranty). They want me to send a cheque for £10 to cover postage which I presume is the return price, then I have to pay to send them over. I wasn't happy with having to pay postage, so I've emailed them asking if they could send me a returm envelope but heard nothing. How do I stand with the law on this? Am I expected to pay postage there & back?
I thought about that myself Hopkirk. I still don't see why I should have to pay in excess of maybe £20, when I bought the article in good faith. Thanks anyway.
